Carl Wilder, Bassoon
Bassoonist Carl Wider, a dedicated orchestral and chamber musician, is currently pursuing music performance studies at the Wheaton Conservatory where he studies with Jonathan Saylor. He has performed throughout the United States and Europe and participated in international summer festivals including the MasterWorks Festival in Winona Lake, Indiana, and Crescendo Summer Institute for the arts in Sárospatak, Hungary. Mr. Wilder can also sometimes be found on the other side of the orchestra podium and appeared as a conductor and artistic director in Wichita, Kansas. Mr. Wilder is an avid outdoorsman and currently lives in Lombard, Illinois.
