Heather Wible's oboe has taken her to play with numerous orchestras throughout the Midwest and along the East Coast, including New England Philharmonic, the Solisti Symphony at the North Carolina School of the Arts, the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra and the A.J. Fletcher Opera Institute. She has been invited to the MasterWorks Festival in Indiana and England for the past four summers, and has also played in the University of North Carolina School of the Arts Summer Music Festival. Ms. Wible holds degrees from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and Ball State University. Her primary teachers include Timothy Clinch, Keisuke Wakao and John Ellis and she is currently an oboist with the Erie Philharmonic.
Heather Wible has been playing the oboe for over 12 years. Her oboe has taken her to play with numerous orchestras throughout the Midwest and along the East Coast. Included in these orchestras are the New England Philharmonic, the Solisti Symphony at the North Carolina School of the Arts, the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra, the A.J. Fletcher Opera Institute, and most recently the Erie Philharmonic in Erie, PA.
She has been invited to the MasterWorks Festival in Indiana and England for the past four summers, and has also played as part of the University of North Carolina School of the Arts Summer Music Festival in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
Heather’s primary teachers include Timothy Clinch, Keisuke Wakao and John Ellis, and she has performed in masterclasses with Ray Still and Linda Strommen. She holds a B.M. from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and is currently pursuing her M.M. at Ball State University.
