Thank you for your interest in partnering with the Halo Ensemble! We are always in need of enthusiastic volunteers, and your involvement is absolutely invaluable to us.
Donate
Every bit helps! Our expenses start long before we actually perform, everything from website maintenance and marketing materials to transportation, music rental and purchase, rehearsal space, etc. We are a young artists' collaborative and many of our artists get involved in more than just a performing capacity by volunteering their time to administrative work outside of rehearsal and performance. We currently receive donations through PayPal. Please contact us directly if you prefer to donate another way. Thank you for your support!
In Kind donations
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you are interested in partnering with Halo in any capacity! There are many ways to contribute to the Halo vision and mission through in kind donations of time and expertise. We always are looking for people who can volunteer in areas of publicity, grant writing, non-profit law and accounting, immigration law and hiring non-U.S. artists, graphic design, website maintenance, accounting, marketing, development, advertising, stage-managing... the list goes on! If you think you might be able to help us out, or have any ideas, please drop us a line through our contact form.
Examples of current in-kind needs:
- Translation. Translate Halo’s press materials and website. We're specifically looking for French, German, Italian and Finnish translators.
- Development & Publicity. Raise support and develop awareness for Halo.
- Graphics Design. Design publicity materials and logo.
- Media. Photographers, Videographers and Recording Engineers.
- Marketing. Social network and internet maintenance.
- Technology. Design and maintain our website.
- Administration. Write grants and research foundational support.
- Non-profit legal work and accounting.
- Volunteer Staff. Mail materials, make phone calls, and develop community awareness.
Hosting a benefit concert
We welcome the opportunity to perform chamber music in intimate venues such as houses and at neighborhood gatherings! Halo was born out of an impromptu house concert among old and new friends in Finland on New Year's Day 2009. So we always delight in returning to our roots. One way to help raise support for the Halo Ensemble's vision and mission is to host a benefit concert at your home or local venue. We'll provide materials and help you plan and prepare!

Sponsoring rental music
The Halo Ensemble is always looking to play both old favorites and cutting edge repertoire. Most recent or new music is by rental only, so underwriting a rental is one way to both sponsor Halo and bring less frequently performed music to audiences. Part of our artistic mission is to commission new works and build both the chamber ensemble and chamber orchestra repertoire. If you are interested in sponsoring a commission, please contact us directly through our contact form.
